Motorcycle Rescheduling / Refund Policy

If, for any reason, BEFORE your class begins, you wish to reschedule, the following shall apply:

  • Notifying the Safety Council 6 or more days prior to the start of your first class session will result in a $25 rescheduling fee.
  • Notifying the Safety Council from 1 to 5 days prior to the start of your first class session, or rescheduling at the request of a rider coach during a class session, will result in a $75 rescheduling fee.
  • Notifying the Safety Council on the day your class starts, or being absent from any part of any class session, will result in forfeiture of all monies paid, and require payment of the full class fee to re-register.
  • To avoid forfeiture of all monies paid, students who withdraw from class as a result of an rider coach’s request, (due to performance related issues) or are forced to withdraw from class due to health related issues, and wish to reschedule, must notify the Motorcycle Program office at (407) 897-4441 within 30 days of the date of the withdrawal and pay a $75 rescheduling fee.  Students who do not contact the Motorcycle Program within 30 days of their withdrawal will forfeit all monies previously paid, and will be required to pay the full fee to register for a new class.
  • Rescheduling initiated by the Safety Council will not be subject to rescheduling fees.
  • In the event a class is cancelled due to weather, students will be contacted by the Motorcycle Program office within 5 business days, to reschedule without incurring a rescheduling fee.

If, for any reason, you wish a refund, the following shall apply:

  • Notifying the Safety Council 10 or more days prior to the start of your first class will result in the Safety Council retaining a $25 processing fee and refunding the remainder of your registration fees to you.
  • Except in the case of a medical emergency, for which you can produce documents from a doctor or medical facility, notifying the Safety Council less than 10 days prior to the start of your first class, will result in the forfeiture of all monies paid.

NOTE: Students who withdraw, or are asked to withdraw from a class after the class has begun, for any reason other than rescheduling recommended by the instructor, due to performance or health related issues, or a documented medical emergency, shall forfeit all monies paid.
