The First Time Driver DATA Course is designed for teen drivers or anyone who is applying for a Florida driver's license / Florida Learner's Permit for the first time. The First Time Driver DATA Course is required by the State of Florida for all first time driver's license applicants (Learners Permit). If you are also looking to get some hands on training, the Florida Safety Council also offers behind the wheel drivers education classes. Teen drivers are strongly recommended to take both the First Time Driver, Drug, Alcohol and Traffic Awareness (DATA) course as well as our Drivers Education classes.
