Vital Living Skills Course Population
- Non-violent offenders.
- No weapons involved in offense.
- No Domestic Violence offenders.
Goal of Vital Living Skills Course
To teach the basic day-to-day skills of budgeting, decision-making, job searching, application, retention, along with problem solving and relationship skills.
Referral Source
- Vital Living Skills may be court ordered.
- Probation Officer with Vital Issues Project Referral Form.
Course Participation
- Attendance is mandatory. Class Size: 15 to 20 students.
- Active participation is required.
- The Orientation session will cover and reinforce the Projects goals/rules.
Status Reports
Enrollment, Attendance/Lack of Attendance, Conduct, with reports to Probation, as requested. Upon successful completion, a graduation certificate is issued.
Class Schedule
Class schedules are available for daytime and evening attendance. The 50 hours of class are divided into 4 or 5 hour sessions.
Payment
Payment options: Cash, Money Order or Credit Card. Payment Plans are available.
Locations
Orange County and Osceola County, Florida Safety Council classrooms. Locations will be expanded as needed.
