Driving Under 25
Driving Under 25 is a driver improvement course specifically designed for drivers between the ages of 15 and 25.
Purpose of Driving Under 25 Program
This program is intended for violators under 25 years of age.
Driving Under 25 may be court-ordered.
Driving Under 25 Goal
To reduce the number of injuries and collisions caused by drivers in the 15–25 year age group through numerous driver improvement techniques. This program encourages participants to take responsibility for their own behavior in driving situations and to adopt safer driving practices.
Driving Under 25 Course Content
- Florida driving and crash statistics.
- Classroom discussion of choices, values, attitudes, behaviors and consequences.
- Discussion of Choice Theory.
- Discussion of DUI effects, cost and penalties.
- Discussion of what is road rage and aggressive driving.
- Discussion of what is responsibility and responsible driving.
- Discussion of your own driving behavior.
- Video case study.
Driving Under 25 Course Format
- Four hour class conducted by a certified instructor.
- An interactive format including lecture, videos, and student interaction in group discussions.
- Provides easy-to-read material for students, in a take-along workbook.
Driving Under 25 Course Availability
Classes are scheduled regularly. Students may contact the Florida Safety Council for times and locations.
Driving Under 25 Registration
Enroll by mail, telephone or by visiting one of our seven office locations. It is helpful if students have their court order with them to insure the correct information is being listed.
