DUI Level I

  • Secure online DUI Course registration is available.
  • Designed for first time DUI offenders.
  • Classes are offered throughout Central Florida.
  • Taught by State of Florida certified DUI Instructors.

Purpose DUI Level I Class

Designed for individuals who have been convicted of only one DUI, or one DUI amended to Reckless Driving. First Offenders only.

MANDATED per FS 316.192(4) and 316.193(5) with Level of education determined based upon the number of lifetime DUI/RD offenses.

DUI Level 1 May be court-ordered for other offenses, e.g. open container-driver.

DUI Level 1 May be DHSMV required for out of state convictions or to obtain hardship or Business Purposes Only permit during an Administrative Suspension.

Goal

To identify those who may be harmfully involved with alcohol and other drugs and to educate all drivers with DUI related convictions about the effects of alcohol and drugs on driving.

Registration

Basic requirements needed to register are:

  1. Court order, if they have been convicted.
  2. Arrest Affidavit or Traffic Crash Report (legible copies).
  3. DUI Citation(s) (legible copies).
  4. Breath / Blood Alcohol Level reading (BAL).
  5. Driver’s License Number.
  6. Photo Identification.

Online registration is available. Students may register prior to conviction. Registration normally takes at least 11/2 hours.

Payment plans are available.

If you need to register for Victim Awareness Program (VAP), more information is available.

DUI Registration Fees and Re-schedule Fees are set by the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles for all Florida DUI Programs.
