Florida Safety Council Traffic School offers the First Time Driver DATA (Drug Alcohol Traffic Awareness) Course. This course is required
for teen drivers or any individual applying for a Florida Driver's License for the first time.

Florida Traffic School and Driver Improvement Online and Live Courses
Got a traffic ticket? Want to keep points off your license? Have you been court-ordered to attend traffic school? Or do you simply need driving instruction to prepare for your license exam? The Florida Safety Council is one of the best traffic schools in the State of Florida, having over 58 years of experience in safety education and training.
The Florida Safety Council offers many traffic school driver improvement courses throughout Central Florida. Traffic school classes are available in both online and classroom formats to meet your needs. Each traffic school course offered meets or exceeds the certification requirements of the State of Florida. Traffic school and driver improvement courses include classes for individuals who have been issued a speeding ticket, a traffic citation, or any other traffic offense requiring court ordered driver improvement.
Certain classes such as the Mature Driver Course, which is offered online and in classroom, can qualify the student for insurance rate reductions upon completion.
Basic Driver Improvement 4-hour (BDI-4) traffic school course, commonly referred to as the Florida Traffic Ticket Class, can keep points off your Florida driver's license, have adjudication withheld and maintain low insurance rates in the state of Florida.
Our Florida First Time Driver course (DATA) is required for all first time driver license applicants, seeking a Florida learners permit. Traffic school is also open and available to drivers who simply wish to improve their driving skills and habits. See all Online Traffic School Courses.
Traffic School may be court ordered, if the court believes that education may reduce repeat appearances on the same or more serious charges. Each course in the traffic school curriculum is facilitated by professional, certified instructors who meet the state of Florida requirements.
Traffic School certificates of completion are presented to students upon successful completion of each traffic school course. The Florida Safety Council issues reports to the Department of Highway Safety & Motor Vehicles (DHSMV) and/or the courts on all students successfully completing courses as required. All courses in the Traffic School curriculum are DHSMV Approved.
